Realistic daily budget for a week in Mexico City?
Trying to plan a realistic per-day number for a mid-range trip — decent hotel, eating well, a couple of day trips. What did yours actually come to?

Mid-range, staying in Roma Norte or Condesa: figure roughly $120–170/day for one person. That's ~$70–100 hotel, $30–40 food (street tacos for lunch, a nice dinner most nights), and the rest on Ubers, museums, and a Teotihuacán day trip. You can do it on half that with hostels and cocinas económicas.

Ubers there are so cheap it barely moves the budget, which still surprises me.
